Dymax Activated Carbon is specifically made to treat water and remove impurities. It eliminates smell and colour chemicals in the aquarium efficiently by decomposing dissolvable organic substances like carbolic acid; tannic acid and chlorine that has dissolved into tap water. The Activated Carbon is able to treat water twice as much as ordinary carbon does. It also has a longer working life span than others. The highly absorbent carbon has a characteristic of neutral pH value that will not cause any impact to the water quality. Most suitable for canister or over head filtration. 500g Bag treats 200L of water for more than a period of 3 months. Do not use active carbon during fish treatment. Remove and replace carbon only if water turns yellow. DM234
