Black Stainless Steel cover for the filter inlet preventing small fish and shrimp from being sucked into the filter inlet. Also helps to avoid excess debris from flowing in the filter causing blockages. Great for sliding shut when feeding to prevent food immediately being sucked into the filter before fish get a chance to eat it.
Description
The IQ Inlet strainer is made of high quality stainless steel material with black anodes finish that works extremely well against corrosion and rust. Apart from preventing very small fish and shrimps from being sucked into the filter inlet the strainer also helps to avoid or trap particles and debris from flowing into the filter causing a blockage to the filtration system of the aquarium. This product is extremely easy to install. Simply align it with the filter inlet strainer and slide side ways to adjust the size required depending on the size of the fish; shrimp or even fish pellets. To fit IQ5 and IQ7. DM154
